How to Join
The East Tennessee Economic Council provides the opportunity to work with great companies for the benefit of all. ETEC's mission is to work with the federal government, particularly the Department of Energy in Oak Ridge, to sustain existing programs and to create new economic opportunities.
The Department of Energy has big plans for its future here. Science and national security programs are major missions at both Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Y-12 National Security Complex. Environmental management programs are cleaning up legacy wastes, making available new industrial properties and tools for private sector uses.
The East Tennessee Economic Council believes that working together we can build an industrial community that supports and enhances DOE's core missions and helps our region prosper. Partnering is essential to our success, and we would like your company to join in our work.
