Nuclear Company – Oklo

In Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Oklo is developing the nation’s first privately funded nuclear fuel recycling facility—a $1.68 billion investment that will create more than 800 high-quality jobs and strengthen a secure, domestic fuel supply.

At the core of this effort is Oklo’s ability to unlock the full potential of nuclear energy. Today’s reactors use only about 5% of the energy contained in their fuel, leaving roughly 95% unused. Oklo’s technology is designed to recycle that used fuel and convert it into clean, reliable energy for advanced reactors like the Aurora powerhouse.
