After Work with ETEC
Connecting Emerging & Established Professionals!
In 2018, ETEC began a late afternoon/early evening event series designed to foster an environment of mentoring and relationship-building between early career professionals and those who are more established. All ETEC members are invited to attend and are asked to encourage emerging leaders in your organizations and networks to attend. Guests are always welcome!
These in-person events are sponsored by an ETEC member company and include a program and Q&A with accomplished professionals, networking, snacks, and drinks. There is no charge to attend, but registrations are required.
After Work with ETEC & YPK at AMSE

Make plans to join the East TN Economic Council (ETEC) and the Young Professionals of Knoxville (YPK) for a special collaborative 'After Work with ETEC' event at the American Museum of Science & Energy (AMSE) in Oak Ridge. The event will feature networking, a special program, hors d’oeuvres, drinks, exploring the museum, and visiting AMSE's gift shop.
Program:
Attendees will enjoy a presentation from local entrepreneur Brandon Bruce, whose topic will be "A forward-looking discussion on technology businesses and growth opportunities in the region, exploring how emerging developments may shape future business opportunities."
The program will conclude with a short, interactive science presentation from AMSE’s Marketing and Communications Director, Matt Mullins.

6:00 p.m. - Program begins and will include a featured speaker and an interactive program from AMSE

The event held at Analysis & Measurement Services Corporation (AMS) was a great success! For those who attended, thank you for being part of the experience! Just over 100 emerging and established professionals came to network and hear from Dr. Hash Hashemian, President & CEO of AMS. We're excited about the connections made and the insights shared. Oak Ridge Enhanced Technology & Training Center

Close to 100 people joined us at CNS Y-12's Oak Ridge Enhanced Technology & Training Center for an evening of mocktails, food, and special tours. During the event we heard from Ashley Stowe, the Director who gave us an update on the training facility's current projects and future plans. We also had the opportunity to learn hands-on about the augmented and virtual reality training this world-class cutting-edge facility does locally and across the globe.
