Annual Meeting & Awards Celebration
The ETEC Annual Meeting & Awards Celebration is a banquet held once a year to celebrate winners of the
Muddy Boot Award and Postma Young Professional Medal, gather the membership community,
and listen to a great keynote speaker.
ETEC's 2025 Annual Meeting &
Awards Celebration
was held
Friday, December 12, 2025; 8:00-10:30 a.m.
at the Hilton Knoxville Airport
The celebration brought together more than 550 members and guests to reflect on a year defined by progress, partnership, and shared momentum across the region.
Attendees heard remarks from featured speaker Dr. Lynne Parker, former Principal Deputy Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, along with Lt. Governor Randy McNally; Oak Ridge Mayor Warren Gooch; Roane County Executive Wade Creswell; Anderson County Mayor Terry Frank; and other regional leaders.
The program celebrated key milestones, honored long-standing ETEC traditions, and recognized outstanding contributions across the community. One of those traditions was the Passing of the Bell Ceremony, marking the transition of leadership from 2025 Chairman Cortney Piper to incoming Chairman Bill Tindal for 2026.
This year’s award recipients included Bob Morris and Andy Page, recipients of the Muddy Boot Award, and Ashley Golden and Kris Meyer, recipients of the Postma Young Professional Medal.
ETEC extends sincere thanks to our sponsors, table hosts, members, and guests for making the celebration a success and for their continued support of the organization’s mission and economic growth throughout East Tennessee.
